Welcome to High Ongar Primary School

Visiting a school during the school day is one of the best ways to choose a primary school for your child. For those children who turn four between 1st September 2025 and 31st August 2026 and who are looking for a space in our Reception Class of 2026, we would like to invite you to come and see our school. We currently have three available which will take place on:

- Thursday 2nd October 9.10-10.15am
- Wednesday 5th November 9.10-10.15am
- Wednesday 12th November 9.10-10.15am

Our small village school culture is based on respect for one another and learning together to achieve our very best. Our caring staff get to know all of our children and families well and are passionate in creating a nurturing environment that inspires children to learn. We offer our children a vibrant and ambitious curriculum in which children are nurtured to grow their independence and resilience skills in a safe environment. We plan and teach exciting, cross-curricular and memorable learning experiences that encourage children to challenge themselves and support one another.
