The School Council is valued as an important part of the way in which we begin to develop an understanding of citizenship with the children. It enables the children to make a positive contribution to the school community and to explain their views and opinions on issues that affect themselves and others in school. 

 

Two representatives are elected each half term from each class and meet each month with a teacher. The Headteacher joins School Council whenever possible.  Representatives lead class discussion about items being considered and decisions made. All classes can contribute agenda items each week.
