Class Pages/Home Learning
Our home learning offer provides children in Early Years and Key Stage One with at least three hours of learning each day and our children in Key Stage Two, four. The children can access their learning through their class home learning page. On the class pages you will find daily pre-recorded teaching videos made by our teachers as well as links to other videos, tasks and activities. The teachers provide a daily plan for what they would like the children to do, to guide the learning. E-safety is being taught weekly, as part of our ICT curriculum. Teachers regularly check e-safety knowledge during live lessons to ensure children are responsibly using the internet both in their learning and leisure time and know how to report any concerns they have.
Teachers, children and parents communicate daily via our whole school Tapestry system and children are encouraged to upload their work daily. Teachers respond with feedback and next steps for each child. Communication is made daily and families are encouraged to engage with the class teacher with questions and comments.
Twice a week, children are invited to live lessons in which the teachers model new learning, explain tasks and give children time to have a go and ask questions.
We are holding weekly PSHE and celebration assemblies, some live and some pre-recorded.
