Homework
Below is an outline of the homework expectations for all year groups for this term and beyond. These are to be seen as minimum expectations and are not a ceiling on children doing more if it is their wish to do so. There are lots of educational websites where children can access age related projects, links to these sites are listed below.
Homework plays a positive role in raising a child's level of attainment and engagement. We also acknowledge the important role of play and free time in a child's growth and development. While homework is important, it should not prevent children from taking part in the activities of various out-of-school clubs and of other organisations that play an important part in the educational development and lives of our pupils. The homework activites outlined in the table are a fun way for your child to develop fluency in their learning at school.
