The Bridge Academy Trust Community Award invites and encourages all children at High Ongar Primary School to demonstrate their community spirit by displaying the attributes of our 'HOPS High 5' at home and in their wider community. This may include taking on extra chores at home, fundraising for a charity and taking part in community events. 

Every child at High Ongar Primary School has the opportunity to achieve Stage 1 and 2 awards each academic year and may be put forward for a silver (year group) or gold (school) level award as a result of their kindness, respect, responsibility, safety, readiness and care in the community. 

Each year group has a menu of suggested activities, pertinent to their age and stage that could be rewarded with the stage one and stage two awards. This award promotes the principles of good conduct and citizenship towards all members of our school and local community.
