School Governors
High Ongar Primary School is a community school with 14 governors comprising parent-elected governors, local authority appointed governors, community governors and members of the teaching and non-teaching staff. Each member of the Governing Body serves for a four year term.
The Governors meet once every school term for a formal Governing Body meeting and once every term for a School Improvement meeting. There are also two committees - Finance and Resources and Curriculum and Development - that also meet on a termly basis.
